This old train bridge ran through what is now the Martha LaFite Nature Sanctuary in Liberty, MO. I stumbled upon it while hiking through the park. It is really a great sturdy old bridge with lots of overgrowth. Abandoned many years ago.
My love of photography led me to painting. I am a self-taught artist and have been painting seriously for the last 10 years. I do lean to oil on canvas, but I have also done a little work in watercolor, colored pencil and acrylic as well. I absolutely love rich colors and dramatic contrasts but most of all I enjoy variety. Such beauty surrounds us in our world and I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to express what I see and feel.
