Now and then I like to break from my detailed style and just have fun with the paints. After I was done playing I realized that the impression I was getting was of a rushing stream. I added the Salmon images to complete the idea.
About Carol Sweetwood
My love of photography led me to painting. I am a self-taught artist and have been painting seriously for the last 10 years. I do lean to oil on canvas, but I have also done a little work in watercolor, colored pencil and acrylic as well. I absolutely love rich colors and dramatic contrasts but most of all I enjoy variety. Such beauty surrounds us in our world and I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to express what I see and feel.
