The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This was painted for my Grandson living in Germany. The balloon photo was taken at an event in Berlin and I used it as reference for the painting.
The colors are bright and happy and perfect for any childs room.
I have framed this print with colorful frames and it turns out beautiful.
About Carol Sweetwood
My love of photography led me to painting. I am a self-taught artist and have been painting seriously for the last 10 years. I do lean to oil on canvas, but I have also done a little work in watercolor, colored pencil and acrylic as well. I absolutely love rich colors and dramatic contrasts but most of all I enjoy variety. Such beauty surrounds us in our world and I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to express what I see and feel.
